Kindergarten Earth day Project.
During March (Dr. Seuss's Birthday month) the kindergartners learned about Dr. Seuss and read many of his stories. We especially enjoyed The Lorax and learning what we should or should not do to keep the Earth healthy so we can stay healthy. During Tech Time we used a green screen and the Veescope app to make a video and share with others what we can all do to keep the Earth healthy.

Mr. Gast's Students Win Contest
Mr. Gast's third grade students were the winners of the Book Fair Change Drive back in November. They finally got to collect their prize this week. Each classroom from Lincoln Elementary collected change in an effort to have more money in their jar than any other classes jar at the end of the week. The class with the highest amount got to choose which story book characters the librarians, Mrs. Voaklander and Mrs. Westling, would dress up as. The class chose the Geronimo Stilton and Thea Stilton. Along with choosing the characters they dressed up as, they also got to spend some fun time with these characters playing real life Hungry Hungry Hippos.
